Creativity Creates

The thing about creativity is it is like movement.  Movement created movement.  Creativity encourages creativity.  I have always been a writer... stories, poems, songs.  However, a few years ago, I started to ignore my creative side, and concentrate on University.  One thing school does is stifle creativity.

On the first, I started my first NaNoWriMo and allowing myself to be creative has truly inspired me.  I am all over the place with my writing right now.  I am trying to channel it into my NaNo because I am WAY behind, however I have ideas flowing out of me so quickly I can almost not keep up.  I have been trying to write them down when they come, but some have simply come and gone and that is that.

My point is, my mind never stopped creating, I just stopped listening to it.  When I finally let it out, it came out as a flood, not a trickle.  Also it should be noted that the lowest point of my life, where I was truly sad, everyday was during this creative strike.  I am not saying they are related, I am just pointing out the coincidental timing.

Off to write some more...
